Ways to Submit a Request for Investigation

You can apply to join the Civil Grand Jury by completing an application, attending Interview and Orientation sessions to be sure that you are qualified and have the time to do the work. The final step is to attend the empanelment which occurs on the last Wednesday of June. During the empanelment, 19 jurors and up to 11 alternates will be randomly selected to a one year term beginning on July 1st.

You may apply online or download, print and mail the Sonoma County Civil Grand Jury application form from the Sonoma County Civil Grand Jury website. Application must be filled out, signed and submitted by the date noted on the application (generally early May).
