Access to Judicial Administrative Records

Effective January 1, 2010, Rule 10.500 of the California Rules of Court sets forth comprehensive public access provisions applicable to judicial administrative records maintained by state trial courts, state appellate courts and the Judicial Council.

Requesting judicial administrative records

Requests for access to judicial administrative records maintained by Superior Court of California County of Sonoma can be made by the following:

The Court will make identifiable judicial administrative records available upon request, unless the records are exempt from disclosure under rule 10.500. Records may be subject to payment of a fee (the Judicial Council has approved the rate of .10 for non-commercial requests. For more information see subdivision (e)(4) of rule 10.500). For commercial requests, please contact the Court directly. All fees will be required to be paid in advance of copying.
