Trial Call & Trial Motions

COURT TRIALS: 

Court Trials will proceed as scheduled. Counsel and self-represented litigants may appear personally or by Zoom for the first day of trial (Friday) only. Subsequent appearances shall be in person unless the court grants permission to appear through remote technology (“Zoom”). Any party, counsel, or witness who seeks to appear through remote technology shall comply with Code of Civil Procedure § 367.75 and California Rules of Court rule 3.672, including use of Judicial Council form RA-010 and RA-020 (“Notice of Remote Appearance” and “Order Regarding Remote Appearance”).

JURY TRIALS:  

Jury trials will proceed beginning April 1, 2022. Counsel and self-represented litigants may appear personally or by Zoom for the first day of trial (Friday) only. Subsequent appearances shall be in person unless the court grants permission to appear through remote technology (“Zoom”). Any party, counsel, or witness who seeks to appear through remote technology shall comply with Code of Civil Procedure § 367.75 and California Rules of Court rule 3.672, including use of Judicial Council form RA-010 and RA-020 (“Notice of Remote Appearance” and “Order Regarding Remote Appearance”).

TRIAL MOTIONS: 

Counsel and self-represented litigants are required to appear in Courtroom 19 either in person or by using remote technology (“Zoom”).  Any party, counsel, or witness who seeks to appear through remote technology shall comply with Code of Civil Procedure § 367.75 and California Rules of Court rule 3.672, including use of Judicial Council form RA-010 and RA-020 (“Notice of Remote Appearance” and “Order Regarding Remote Appearance”).
